Taxi Vnukovo International Airport
Formerly known as Andrei Tupolev International airport, this dual runway airport is located 28 km southwest of Moscow. Amongst the four major airports, Vnukuvo is placed the highest, situated at 204 metres above sea level. It’s also the smallest, but still welcomes a fair amount of passengers. VKO has two terminals. Terminal A, which is also the main terminal, is used for both domestic and international flights. Terminal D is where flights arriving from North Caucasus are designated. Despite only being the third busiest, Vnukovo International airport is the oldest among the three major airports in Moscow. It was originally built as a military operations base during the Second World War. Economy-class flyers may opt to buy lounge passes or avail a lounge membership program. All lounges are conveniently located at Terminal A. With the exception of Prokofiev Premier Lounge, the rest are open 24 hours. Free WiFi is readily available in Terminal A only. This requires device authentication and only last 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can visit any of the five lounges for unlimited WiFi access. The Internet Café located at Terminal A is also a good place to get connected.

However, only 1 parent can accompany your toddlers inside due to limited space. The playroom is free of charge and requires no medical certificates. Simply surrender your flight ticket. Play Areas are also available. Similar to Playrooms but smaller in size, this family service area requires a fee for every 30 minutes of use. For those looking for a place to stay, hotels are conveniently located at approximately 5 minutes driving distance from the airport. These amenities can be accessed via airport transfer and shuttle services. The Aeroexpress connects Vnukovo to Central Moscow.
